I saw this crazy creature at the Richmond Zoo while on my trip. Do you know what this is? Well, I'll give you a clue. It's nearest relation is a horse and a rhino, and one resource says an elephant.
In a group they are called, Candles. Seriously??
They have four toes on the front feet and three on the back. Have you guessed yet? The babies are born with white dapples and stripes for camouflage.
They are great swimmers and can feed on aquatic plants. Strange, huh, with those feet?
That long nose is used to grab leaves and plant life. It also uses it like a snorkel. (Now that would freak me out, if I was swimming!)
Okay, If you don't know, it's a ~ Tapir. Man, that's one mixed-up animal. Different number toes on it's feet, uses its nose to grab food, and snorkels. I don't know why it's related to horses....
"Friend, don't go along with evil. Model the good. The person who does good does God's work. The person who does evil falsifies God, doesn't know the first thing about God." 3 John 11
Do I look like a mixed up person to others? Do I say one thing and do another, or pretend to be something I'm not?
Lord make me a good role model for You, even if I have odd numbered toes.
