Joylicious!

This is a picture of my friend Johnnie's, grand daughter. I don't know what Kaydi saw at Disney World and to me that's not important. I just adore this picture of joy. Her spontaneous, happy surprise goes from her head to her toes and her mom, Jill, captures that moment. Her dad can feel her joylicious energy and smiles, too.

I grin every time I see this photo and just want to squeeze her. :)

Wouldn't you like to feel this joyful? And be contagious to others?

"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full." John 15:11

Would God smile and love it if I showed that kind of joy over Him? Would He want to squeeze  me? (Hint: read above verse. :) ) Help me to be joylicious!

My DD asked why I was jumping up and down the other day when my friend gave me a loaf of her delicious bread...

I am still a child at heart (and I love that pic.!)

Complete Joy! What a precious picture!!!! I would have missed it but she took it at just the right second!!! I do often wonder how differet it will be when we are in heaven & His joy is complete in us! I feel it now but I know it will even be a gazillion times better!

What a cute kid Kaydi is? And that word "joylicious," that's a new one that expresses exactly what you wanted to say Karen! - Dave

Scripture indicates that God has this kind of joy over me. I've been a Christian for over 30 years. It's still hard to grasp!

That is adorable! I think the Lord loves it when we are delighted over Him and everything He does for us.

Hey, thanks for sharing!

THAT is the BEST picture I have seen in a long time. I love that she took it at just the perfect moment. How precious.
Having been to Disney World twice I can understand the excitement. :)
I love your analogy though and want to be that excited over my Lord.

Stephanie, I agree!

Cassandra, yes, it is a hard thing to imagine.

Jeanette, I believe that too. So many times I forget, though.

Lady Fi, thanks for stopping by. Your site is beautiful.

Tracy, thanks. Jill captured the exact moment! Oh for child-like honesty with the Lord.

Ron, ha, yes she does!
