Watchers

Posted by Picasa
Ever feel like some one is behind you, watching?

Or really looking over your shoulder!

Or even from afar, just get that feeling?

Well, it happens all the time.

The other day, I was the watcher. I was stopped at a red light and a nice truck with a fancy trailer hauling all the top-of-the-line landscaping equipment pulled up next to me. His logo read, "No Short Cuts Landscaping."

Clever, I thought, until he threw his truck in park, (I only noticed because it came to a jerky stop) and saw him hurry to the back. He quickly grabbed a portable gas can (the kind used to fill your mower) and ran to fill up his truck before the light turned green.

No short cuts, huh? I'm sure he knew we were all watching. I didn't think too highly of his logo, then.

"Walk as children of the light." Ephesians 5:8

Ooops, may I live what I say I am. You never know when others are watching.

How come things like no gas are funny when they happen to others and not you? Mystical thought for the day! Wow that wore me out.

I echo your sentiment. Someone is always watching how we react to situations. I know I don't always respond in the best way, but I hope the good outweighs the not-so-good.

I always liked, yet squirmed the saying:

Preach the gospel always and if necessary use words.

You are so right - we are always being watched.
Good thoughts, Karen

I'm (re)reading a book about someone who always thinks she's being watched (unfortuantely she is!)-Brandilyn Collins' Exposure. Good suspense book. If you read suspense you might want to try this. EVen if you don't normally read suspense : )

Good reminder for us all Karen. And I am a total people watcher. I figure I can learn more things that way.

Have a great weekend, I have a huge stack of books and no plans today! What a great day!
