Armed Forces Day

Heroes

"My tattered old Webster's defines hero as a 'legendary figure....endowed with great strength and ability...an illustrious warrior...a person possessing great courage.' There's another important characteristic of heroes: they place themselves at risk for the benefit of others."
Oliver North
American Heroes in the Fight against Radical Islam

On this day I want to salute all those who have served and continue to risk all for their country, fellow citizens and family. Below are pictures of my grandfather, father, father-in-law and son who all served. God bless them all.

Welcome home David!

That's Shelly, my daughter.

My place of work at the time, Bay Tree Rehab and Nursing, welcoming David home. Many retired servicemen and women were glad to see him.

Blessings on all who serve and their families who wait.
