Yuk, Look at That!

Can you tell what this is? I wanted to enlarge it more, but couldn't-so please click on the picture to see it up close.

Notice a tear rolling down the side, as if it knows it's not right.

Can you tell now?

Oh, okay, here it is. I just can't keep a secret long....

Something or someone has abused this lovely palm frond.

But if you look closely at the top picture, the damage has turned into a tapestry of art.

"He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

God took this ravaged palm frond and made it beautiful to my eyes. But only when I came close enough to see the design.

Because God healed my scars, may I dare to come close to others who pass my way and see their souls tapestry as God makes them into something beautiful.

Wonderful perspective. I love it when we see God's hand in the ordinary things and he uses them to teach us. Awesome.

Great perspective, Karen. I think looking at life like this is one reason I like working with stained glass. What appears broken and jagged, in God's hands becomes beautiful. Thanks Karen.

Clella, thanks sweetie, love you, too.

Parsley, I'm not sure what happened, but could be wind/storm, bugs, or rough human handling.

Alicia, you are too sweet. I think it's more a quirky mind... :P

Linda, yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to do. I see more, too when I'm around children.

Diane, hey maybe that would be a good title....if "Mash" hadn't cornered the market. :)

Jeanie, oooo, that is so good. You need to write and article with that one!

Hilary, ((hugs to you)) thanks.

Bina, I'm glad the Lord showed me these thoughts, you're very welcome.

This is just beautiful, Karen. I love the close-up photo and then the different perspective from the second shot.

May God continue to make us all into something beautiful--in His image.

Blessings!

Great imagery and message, Karen. Beautiful. I hope to not only see the design in my own life, but look with less judgmental eyes to see the beauty in others. ;0)

Julie, I'm learning how to use my camera better, thanks.

Melinda, thank you sweetie.

That is so beautiful! It reminds me of snowflakes up close. What a wonderful analogy.

How wise of you to mention that we must come close enough to pain to see what God can do in the process of healing us.

I'm from Florida too and noticed your comment on Donna's blog this morning.
