Kathy sent me this adorable set of children's books.
I won them. She had the most difficult contest, and yes, me, I was the winner. Or rather one of two winners. And the contest...wasn't that difficult. In fact, it was just a guessing contest.
Okay, so I have a good guesser. Kathy asked, "How old is my cat?" I just happened to get close. HEY, don't knock it. Look what can happen if you are even close. :P
I will love reading them to my grand kids and anyone else who will listen. Thank you Kathy!
"This is how much God loved the world; He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why; so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life." John 3:16 (MS)
I'm happy I don't have to depend on my guesser to get into heaven. I can know for sure, 'cause I don't think just "getting close" will work.

Congrats! what fun you will have! and I never knew you were such a good guesser! I will remember that. LOL
Love your last sentence. Glad we'll never have to worry if we're close enough!!! :O)
Very cool. Congrats to you, Karen. :)
Oh, lucky you. Congrats!
It is hard to guess a cat's age. It's not like they get wrinkles or gray hair or anything : )
how fun! congrats!
How exciting! Congratulations on your good guesser! It's always fun to read to the grands. Ours are addicted to reading--I'm so glad!
What fun!!! Every girl needs to win something now and then! And I think you and I are alike in our thinking that one can never have enough books! I keep thinking that I should pass along some of my childrens books to Lib, but I just can't part with them. It would be like giving away one of my kids, and she has enough of her own...
Loved learing about those dragons in your last post. They are super cool. I have never learned about those before.
I pray that you are having a wonderful summer. It is going by much too fast for me. My oldest baby is going to leave for college in mid August, and she has a week long missions trip before then. I get sad just thinking about it. She, on the other hand, will be running out of the car and into her dorm without even giving us a kiss good-bye. Glad one of us is ready, and that it is the right one of us!
Kate
Jeanie, ha, my guesser sometimes works.
Hilary and Lady Fi, thanks so much.
Kathy, yes, I KNEW it was hard. So glad I came in second! Thanks again.
Bekajane and Jeannette, thanks.
Kate, I'm the same way about books. Some just have such a sentiment attached to them. Oh, I remember those days with my daughter. Hope her mission trip is a blessing to her and others. Oh, thanks about those dragon, aren't they the most exotic things?
Sounds like you have a good guesser to me! Congrats!
Books are always a sweet prize! Just think how happy winninng these little prizes & think of what God gives us! Can't wait! :)
Congratulations!!!!
Isn't it so much fun to win stuff?! Glad you will be able to share these with your grandchildren.
