I took several pictures when my gardenias were in bloom. I didn't pay much mind to anything other than just clicking away doing my own merry thing.
But something was watching me the whole time. I didn't even know it, or notice until later when I uploaded these on my computer and enlarged them. Can you see it? Would you have noticed if I had not told you?
"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him." 2 Chronicles 16:9
How many times has God watched out for me and only in looking back did I see His presence and help? I will certainly trust in Him who watches over me.
Keep Your eyes on all us children, Lord.

I just glimpsed at the flower at first but when you said there was something I immediately saw it.
Great story and photo to get the point across.
Hey Karen. How are things there? You okay? Is the spill affecting you?
When you said watching you I spotted the fly(?). Yes many times I looked back and noticed God was watching and keeping me. Now I expect to see His hand in everything.
How do you get these pictures???? You're like a sniper of tiny, hidden things! :O)
I wished I lived in a climate where I could grow gardenias. I tried a plant inside once. It lasted about a year. Boy did it smell wonderfule in bloom though. I did have to go back and study the picture. At first glance, before reading the post I didn't see it. It is so easy to miss the small details.
I would not have seen him if you hadn't told, Karen! Thanks for sharing your gift of finding a God lesson in everything--and I thank God for you.
Love,
Jen
Parsley, I'm farther down in Florida-the Tampa Bay area. So no oil here, prayerfully never.
Analisa, I can't imagine how many times I have missed seeing God's watchful care over me.
Diane, you make me laugh! Sniper of tiny, hidden things...:O
Amy, awww, sorry they don't grow well up there. I love them, too!
Jeanette, you are so sweet. Thank you.
What a beautiful photo, Karen. But honestly, if you hadn't pointed out that little critter, I don't think I would have noticed. Well, maybe I might have.
Trusting Him to watch over me, too.
Blessings, my friend!
He's always watching...it's because He loves us so.

That seems to happen to me all the time. I have to wonder how many things I miss.. plenty, I'm sure. Gorgeous flower and cute wee bug.
Awww thanks for the kinds words-one day, when I grow up, I want a neat camera like yours. :) I'm trying to be more aware, especially since I write.
That little fly watching you enhances your lovely rose photo Karen. Well done. Dave
