Here's my son David in Iraq at the beginning of Operation Freedom. He was crew chief over a couple of Amtracks (Amphibious Assault Vehicles.) He carried troops across the Tigris river into Bagdad.
Anyway, the Lord saw him safely through. Now I'm unashamedly touting one of his new adventures. Diesel's Seasonings. David has created his own spice line for meats. His first seasoning is for burgers, now you can't beat a good burger! For this he's tapped into a bit of his spicy cajun heritage.
David has declared a war on bland. No more wimpy meats.
Oh, he got that nickname in the Marines....absolutely NO diesel is combined in his seasoning....lol....

My favorite burger is a little tropical: A toasted white bun, charcoal grilled 1/3 pound beef patty (well done, no pink), topped with melted cheddar, a crisp lettuce leaf, a fresh tomato slice, and two GRILLED PINEAPPLE RINGS, slathered in sweet teriyaki sauce.
Serve with a side of thick season salted fries and some extra napkins! YUMMMMMMMM!
I know I'm not going to win with this one because I'm such a plain Jane! I like a grilled hamburger with just a little bit of onion, pepper, and that's it!

A burger needs bacon, swiss cheese, mushrooms maybe a little onion cooked with it on a toasted bun. May God bless David's new business and thank you David for what you have done for your country. Clella
I'm easy--as long as you grill it so there is absolutely NO PINK inside at all. Just add ketchup and maybe pickle or a little mayo. Wouldn't mind trying something new.

A hamburger cooked medium with a thick sliced of onion, salt and pepper, light on the Mayo, between a bum and two hands to hold it together.
It don't get any better than that...except maybe for some "Diesel's seasoning for Burgers" thrown in the mix. But of course I'll never know unless I win that free bottle of "Diesel's".
Tell him from one vet to another...thanks for serving and putting your self in harms way for me and this great country of ours.
Never mind telling David thanks for me...I went to his web site and told him myself. I feel that strongly about our service men and their service.
I wish I'd see more people shaking hands with servicemen and women out in public and thanking them personally...picking up their tabs in restaurants, paying for their haircuts in barber shops. etc
Oh, ya'll have some good sounding burgers, here. I think I'll let David choose..teehee...

My favorite is a well well done burger- yes I like the crispy ones on the outside, topped with lettuce, tomato(fresh and hearty, not white and mealy) , red onion, chipotle mayo or 1000 island dressing... whichever I have closer
